Duke is a beautiful Chilean/Bolivian/Peruvian male with gorgeous rose gray/brown fiber with great luster, crimp and coverage. He has fringe dripping from his beautiful ears. His bloodlines include Top Flight, Top Gun, Don Juan Quixote, Quo Vadis, Chavito, CEO and The Fiduciary. His sire and his dam are both beautiful silver/gray llamas who frequently produce gray offspring. Duke is a half brother to our ALSA Halter Champion Tempis Fugit - they share the same sire.

Duke is a relatively high-strung male with a tendency to be aggressive towards other males. Normally our Minnie Pearl babies are incredibly sweet and easy to handle. We aren't sure why Duke doesn't share this disposition. We have handled him more in an attempt to settle him down and get him in a "working" frame of mind when he is on the lead. With a little more work he should settle down and be fine while on the lead. This is part of the reason we have reduced his price so much. We do NOT recommend Duke for first time llama owners.
