Crown Jewel, aka "Julie", is absolutely the crown jewel of this breeding program! Her sire is Picabo's Black Diamond Jewel (out of my absolute favorite female Picabo sired by my favorite male and first llama Handel) and her dam is Midnight Kachina (out of Kachemak's Hopi and sired by Champion Midnight Hour). Her background includes East Fork Narcissus, Gandy Dancer, Macho Blanco and MC Hammer - to name only a few of the more famous names! This beautiful young lady hit the ground with absolute perfection and remains gorgeous. She has loads of style and presence and she loves to show off her correct conformation, solid bone structure and beautiful fiber.  We showed Jewel at Estes Park Wool Market 2005 where she placed 5th in a huge yearling female class. She had just turned a year so she was the youngest in her class and was nervous so she didn't show to her full potential. With additional handling and show ring exposure we believe Jewel has great potential. With her breeding, looks and temperament, she would be a great asset to anyone's breeding program and show string.
