Mesquite is beautiful adult male with silky charcoal gray fiber that is very dense with high luster, lots of crimps per inch and very soft hand. He is a proven stud - producing blue/gray, silver/gray and charcoal gray crias. He is owned by and has been trained by Jackie Vance (who earned 19 Youth Grand Champion and 2 Youth Reserve Grand Champion awards, as well as placing in the top ten at Nationals three years in a row).

Mesquite has a very laid-back personality, a willing attitude and is easy to handle. He is pack trained and has day packing experience. He is also trained on a stake-out line. He has done the Fairplay Llama Race several years now.
