We don't breed llamas so that we can sell them; we sell llamas so that we can continue to breed them. We continually strive to produce llamas that are an improvement on their parents. |
| If you purchase an open female from us, you may choose to breed her to any herd sire of appropriate lineage at Split Rock Ranch for free. We have Chilean, Bolivian and Peruvian crosses available, as well as hardy North American stock. |

Split Rock Ranch Guarantee All llamas sold by Split Rock Ranch are guaranteed healthy at the time of sale. If the llama is to be used for breeding purposes, they are guaranteed to be able to reproduce. If the llama is a bred female we guarantee a live birth. The full extent of any liability of Split Rock Ranch under this guarantee will be limited to replacement of an unhealthy llama by another healthy llama of equal value or, in the case of a non-live birth, we will provide a re-breeding for the purchased female. |
Split Rock Ranch Re-Breeding Program All females purchased from Split Rock Ranch come with a complimentary re-breeding to any existing herd sire with appropriate lineage at Split Rock Ranch for up to three complimentary re-breedings. We offer a 50% discount off our stud fees thereafter. A re-breeding after a non-live birth shall not be counted toward the three complimentary re-breedings. Boarding fees shall apply for all females left at Split Rock Ranch for re-breeding. |
